International image of Viladecans
Viladecans participation in international networks gives the city a loudspeaker for its promotion abroad and provides the benefits of shared learning, which results in a better development of the city and its inhabitants.
The most important networks where we participate are the following ones:
Urban Development Network
The Urban Development Network is a network composed by more than 500 cities and urban areas of the European Union who are responsible for the implementation of integrated actions on sustainable urban development strategies financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) during 2014-2020.
UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities
UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities is an international network that works to improve education practices and policies. This network supports and enhances dialogue and mutual learning between member cities, linkages, promotion of partnerships and capacity building activities.
