An ideal location
Viladecans is located in the Baix Llobregat area, between Castelldefels and El Prat de Llobregat, just 20 minutes from Barcelona and even closer to the city of Hospitalet de Llobregat.
We are part of the Barcelona Metropolitan Area, but lucky enough to be surrounded by countryside. On the one hand, there’s the Llobregat river delta and the pre-coastal hills on the horizon. On the other, just minutes away, the waves breaking on the long sweep of the town’s beaches, which you mustn’t miss.
We are also very close to Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport (but away from the flight path), so we’re ideally placed for your visit to Barcelona.

Getting to Viladecans from Barcelona couldn’t be easier. Just choose your mode of transport and come visit us!
- By car
Twenty-five minutes from the centre of Barcelona. For Viladecans centre, take exit 50 off the C-31 and C-32. You can also get here via the B-10 and B-20. Make a note of the GPS:

- By bus
A number of buses run between Plaza España and the centre of Viladecans: L80, L81, L86, L87, E81, E86, N14 and N16. From Plaça Reina Maria Cristina: L97 and E98.
Barcelona integrated transport tickets are valid on these services (link to TMB).
- By train
Renfe Cercanías urban lines: Vilanova - Sant Vicenç de Calders (R2 and R2 heading south) depart from Sants station and take 25 minutes to reach Viladecans. Viladecans is within fare zone 1 and one-way tickets cost 2.40€. Integrated transport tickets such as the T-Usual are also valid.

Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport is so close that you could almost say the travellers are our neighbours. It couldn’t be easier to get to the airport: by car, the journey takes around 10 minutes. There’s also a bus that runs day and night directly to the departure terminals. Start your journey in Viladecans!
